to plan and mobilize a mission

Hour 1 - The MEU receives orders and prepares to respond to a crisis.

Hour 2 - Commanders and Staff review intelligence and begin to plan.

Hour 3 - Each element prepares to support a unified course of action.

Hour 4- The commander approves a plan and all orders are distributed.

Hour 5 - Marines load their gear onto vehicles and prepare to move out.

Hour 6 - Aircraft and landing craft launch the first wave of Marines.
